Ok. I’m jumping on the lets-get-healthy-coz-it’s-2013 band wagon. I saw on instagram that Simple Green Smoothies is doing a 30 day challenge. So, I signed up. You should sign up too because green smoothies are delicious and allow you to get lots of raw veggie goodness. It seems as though the challenge is very beginner friendly too, with lots of recipes. I tend to stick to my own recipes as I don’t want too much fruit.
Anyway, so far, so good. It’s day two and I’m going strong. Ha. I’ve had:
Day 1: 1/2 banana, 1/2 pear. 1/4 cup of blueberries, 2 cups of spinach, greek yoghurt and coconut water
Day 2: 1 banana, 1/2 pear, 2 cups of spinach, greek yoghurt and full cream milk
What is your fave green smoothie recipe? I need inspiration!

P.S Suger Coat It is doing a Go On Get Healthy series- check it out!

Yum! We’ve just been using water and ice, I might need to add some Greek yoghurt and stuff. And keeping the fruit count low is a big thing for me being low/no sugar. We go big on the vege content.
Love to add yogurt for gut health! I try and keen the fruit to one serve!
Well done… I’m doing the challenge too:) Started yesterday with the Peach Coconut Dream smoothie.
Yay! Yum- love peaches! I think I’ll try that one soon.
Thanks for stopping by!

Yummo…wonder if I could use almond milk instead of dairy milk..Hmm worth a try. I love green smoothies. Been drinking them for over 2 years now!
ABSOLUTELY use almond milk! I love cows milk. The milk would help with a protein hit I think!
